Baška
Investments in high-quality properties

The old properties on the main beach of Baška on the island of Krk are to be pulled down and replaced by modern, high-quality accommodation facilities.

The former hotels Velebit, Štrand and Baška (owned by the Baška Hotels Company) will be replaced by two new properties by next May. The larger property – Hotel Velebit – will comprise 64 apartments, some in the five-star category.

All the apartments in the new three-storey building facing the sea will be fitted to the highest standards. The other accommodation units, as well as the second, smaller building, will be categorised as four-star.
The second building will be a rather small property with 16 accommodation units, which will be added to the existing Adria property of 12 rooms.
Investment will total approximately 10 million euros. The Baška Hotels Company has also announced the construction of a new conference hall in Hotel Corinthia, which will offer places for 250 people.
