City light posters with information for visitors

Visitors to Rijeka can now learn more about the town's historical sites and attractions in a new way – reading the detailed information displayed on illuminated city posters in five languages.

Ten light boards have been set up so far with information in five languages – Croatian, English, German, Italian and French – about the town's history, places of interest and traditions, as well as with archive photographs of individual places and monuments. The project was carried out by the Rijeka Tourist Board in collaboration with the City of Rijeka. The Tourist Board was in charge of the complete preparation of the project, including the design of the posters and writing the texts.
In this way, Rijeka joined the series of towns that inform their visitors about important historical sites, providing necessary information for sightseeing and understanding the history of this town with a rich cultural and historical heritage, a packed calendar of cultural events and loads of fun for all generations.
The city light poster project continues with the aim of making this town and its famous religious destination of Trsat even more attractive to visitors.
