Mali Lošinj
All sites of interest on your navigation device!

From the beginning of this year, your journey to Mali Lošinj, a renowned tourist destination on the island of Lošinj, as well as exploration of its cultural, historical and natural sites of interest, will be even easier and simpler. This is because all of Mali Lošinj's "secrets" will be available on your navigation device or on the display of your mobile phone.

The Mali Lošinj Tourist Board in collaboration with the firm Navigo sistem d.o.o., which is the general representative of the Garmin GPS devices, has marked points of interest on the island of Lošinj and provided the cartographic basis. As a result, the new edition of the Adria Route 2.3, which should be available from the beginning of 2009, will include a detailed presentation of Mali Lošinj with street names and house numbers as well as all agreed points of interest.

Google Maps programme was used to mark the points of interest. The Lošinj Guide is available on the Mali Lošinj Tourist Board homepage (www.tz-malilosinj.hr) from which it can be downloaded and used free of charge (Travel Tools section).

The Guide contains 295 sites in the area of the Town of Mali Lošinj, which includes not only its immediate surroundings, but also the islands of Unije, Susak and Ilovik.

The list of points of interest in the Guide includes all accommodation facilities, cultural and historical monuments, public institutions, sports and entertainment facilities, gastronomy and other services of public interest with all necessary contacts and addresses. For a better visualisation, the descriptions of cultural and historical sites include relevant photographs, and some restaurants will be presented with two most prominent specialities.

The guide is available in Croatian, English, German and Italian.
