Recognitions for Kvarner campsites
The high-quality standard of services and amenities in Mali Lošinj's Poljana Campsite was recognised by the German automobile club ADAC, and its sports and entertainment programmes were highly ranked by the Dutch Camping-Guide issued by ANWB. In addition, the Dutch publisher awarded special recognitions for the year 2009 to as many as three other Kvarner campsites: Konobe, Pila and Kovačine.
The 2009 edition of the ADAC Camping Caravaning Guide included Mali Lošinj's Poljana campsite in the selection of six Croatian campsites awarded for extraordinary maintenance of the campsite, and in the list of eleven Croatian camps awarded for excellent maintenance of sanitary facilities. Poljana campsite is also the winner of the ADAC Yellow Table award for particular achievements in last year.
There is more: the Dutch camping guide, issued by ANWB, presented special awards for the year 2009 to six Croatian campsites, three of them from the Kvarner region: the Konobe naturist campsite and the Pila campsite, both in Punat on the island of Krk, and the Kovačine campsite on the island of Cres. The Dutch editor particularly praised the sports and entertainment opportunities in the Poljana campsite.
