Rab Trekking
Dynamic terrain and natural beauty

At the beginning of December, the last ninth race of the Croatian trekking league, cca 35 kilometres long hill race which gathered racers from Germany, Slovenia and all parts of Croatia was held on Rab. Trekking is a combination of mountaineering, hiking and (mountaineering) running in which by reading the geographic maps, control points are being discovered in shortest possible time, and the island of Rab, the most diverse Croatian island which every few kilometres offers a completely different and new terrain, proved to be a perfect location for this race.

The island of Rab with its fascinating mountain Kamenjak, sandy beaches Lopara, pine forests Kalifronta and promenades along the sea has delighted all the contestants whom the race took to asphalt, macadam, sand, forests and rough rocks.
After the race, the contestants had an organized dinner and celebration in restaurant Laguna in Lopar which lasted until the early hours.

Rab Trekking was organized by Adventurous Sports Club Multisport, which organizes the biggest trekking races in Croatia such as Zagreb Urban Challenge, Velebit trekking and the most prestigious European adventure Terra incognita.
