The commission has decided: the best tended resorts are Opatija, Krk and Rab.

As part of the I Love Croatia project, the Kvarner County Tourism Office has assessed various holiday resorts in general, as well as individual elements of their tourism offer. The campaign is aimed at raising the overall quality of the living environment, improving tourism, and environmental protection. In the Kvarner area, the Blue Flower campaign included 14 tourism boards. A special commission has visited all the candidates and chosen the best among them.

The winner for the overall appearance in the category of holiday resorts with 10,000 to 20,000 inhabitants is the town of Opatija. The winners in the category of towns up to 10,000 inhabitants are the towns of Rab and Krk, followed by Mali Lošinj and Novi Vinodolski.
As far as individual elements of the tourism offer are concerned, the winners are: the best park is the Boškopin Town park in Rab, folowed by the Angiolina Park in Opatija, the Prof. Vinko Frančišković Park in Rijeka and Veli Park in Krk. The best public beaches are the Poli mora beach in Selce, the Ičići beach in Ičići, and the Balustrada public beach in Crikvenica. The best petrol station is Crobenz in Novi Vinodolski, and the best post offices are HP Crikvenica and HP Rijeka. The winners in the private gardens category are Ms Milena Guščić from Rab, Ms Ljiljana Molnar Gabor from Krk, and Ms Marija Kirinčić from Njivice on the island of Krk. The best tourist information centre is the TIC Rijeka in Rijeka, with a special recognition given to the Geopark Rab Thematic Information Point in Lopar on the island of Rab. Awarded projects in the Tourism Offer category are the 485th Krk Fair, the Eyes of Vinodol vantage points, with special recognition for the Rijeka Astronomy Centre and the islet of Košljun. The best souvenirs are the Morčić, the souvenir of the town of Rijeka, the range of souvenirs by Ivo Rušin from Nerezine on the island of Lošinj, and the range of wine souvenirs by the Pavlomir wine cellar from Novi Vinodolski.
In addition to receiving these awards, the winners of each category are also candidates for the national competition and will be visited by the commission of the Croatian National Tourist Board.
