The Falkensteiner Hotel Therapia, for the "good old days"

If you want to relax and benefit from a special wellness offer, or simply enjoy Crikvenica's pleasant climate, which has been proven to have beneficial effects on human health, you are invited to visit the Falkensteiner Hotel Therapia, which combines the elegance of the past with modern comfort.

Crikvenica's Falkensteiner Hotel Therapia is located in a building that was constructed in 1895 as a residence for the Austrian emperor Franz Joseph I. The property later changed its purpose several times, and for the last five decades it has been a hotel. It was completely refurbished in 2006, when its original splendour was restored. Hotel's numerous guests have at their disposal attractive package holidays in September and October, which include gastronomic specialities, recreational activities, and relaxing wellness programmes. In addition, until mid-October, visitors can make use of the Falkensteiner offer in the Zadar area in central Dalmatia and enjoy a seven-day programme entitled "Explore Croatian towns" that includes a stay in Crikvenica and Zadar.

The hotel disposes of 109 accommodation units, out of which 14 apartments. Additional amenities include a wellness centre, outdoor and indoor pool, a congress hall with seventy seats, and various gastronomic, sporting and recreational facilities.

Crikvenica, one of Kvarner's most famous holiday resorts, was officially proclaimed a health resort at the beginning of the 20th century. In addition to leisure and health tourism, the town offers great possibilities for excursions to some attractive destinations in the surrounding areas, such as the towns of Rijeka and Opatija, the islands of Krk and Rab, the Plitvice Lakes National Park, and the peninsula of Istria.
