Lovranske vile
For health, enjoyment and personal change

Every stay amid nature offers a fresh chance to find peace within yourself. With the Lovranske vile company, which fosters the concept of truly comprehending the essence and aspiration for personal change, this journey can be even more pleasant and interesting.

A stay in the Historic Spa Hotel Villa Astra in Lovran, a coastal town in the immediate vicinity of Opatija, does not include just a comfortable accommodation in one of the six individually designed hotel rooms. It is also a great opportunity to enjoy interesting tastes of organic food, and try personal change programmes based on ayurveda, the ancient Indian knowledge about life, in combination with modern quantum healing. Each programme is individually tailored to provide the best way of renewing and balancing health. Special attention is given to food, which is why all fruits and vegetable come from organic and biodynamic gardens.
Following the overall concept oriented at nature, healthy food and green philosophy, your hosts will provide carefully designed programmes that can last one, two or three weeks and are tailored to meet individual needs of every single visitor and the goals they want to achieve.
Special spring programmes are related to asparagus and dishes made with this tasty plant. In groups of eight, with the help of an expert herbalist, visitors will go hiking on Mount Učka where they will gather asparagus and other indigenous Mediterranean plants, and then use them to prepare various tasty healthy dishes.
These culinary workshops in English take place in Oraj, a three-hectare estate on the slopes of Mount Učka, where organic fruits and vegetables are grown. The estate includes the Casa Oraj – a completely refurbished house with four double rooms equipped with original antique furniture. In addition to healthy fresh food, the house has rooms suitable for team building programmes, smaller seminars and special celebrations.
Special attractions of Oraj – which is located on a hill 375 metres above sea level – include a nearby cave, a labyrinth, and four lithopuncture stones located on the terrace beneath the panoramic point. All of them provide excellent opportunities for programmes in a unique, inspiring ambience that combines the advantages of coastal and mountainous landscapes.
