Lošinj Hotels & Villas
Austrian media declare the island of Lošinj as the new top destination

After a recent presentation by Lošinj Hotels & Villas, the island's biggest hotel chain, approximately 50 journalists from the leading Austrian media concluded with enthusiasm – Lošinj is a new top destination.

After the recent presentation of the Lošinj Hotels & Villas company and their best hotels on the island of Lošinj in Vienna, representatives of Austrian print and electronic media have concluded unanimously – Lošinj is Europe's new top destination. This fact has long been known by regular visitors, and those who have already visited one of Europe's most popular family hotels – Hotel Vespera.
Hotel Vespera is a part of the Lošinj Hotels & Villas company, the biggest hotel chain on the island, but also of Kinderhotels, Europe's largest group of hotels for children and families. This company has recently announced that of their 51 hotels across Europe, the most sought for is the Hotel Vespera.
However, the quality of services offered in the Hotel Vespera, which is specially designed to meet the needs of family guests, is just one of the reasons for the increased popularity of the island of Lošinj. Further highlights of this destination are the high-quality Hotel Aurora and other facilities that offer comfortable accommodation, and a wide range of events to choose from, many of which are based on the island's tradition and fragrant medical plants that thrive here.
The overall development and promotion of the island of Lošinj has reached a very high level. All the services, projects and programmes are aimed at offering an unforgettable, relaxing holiday. The island of Lošinj has become synonymous with the destination where visitors can not only relax, but also improve their health in a unique natural environment.
At the promotion in Vienna, managers of the Lošinj Hotels & Villas company particularly emphasised the fact that healing properties of this island were first discovered by the Austrians at the end of the 19th century. After having determined some of the island's many natural healing factors, such as local climate or vegetation, the Austrian physicians Dr. Conrad Clar, balneologist and climate therapist, and Dr. Leopold Schroter, otorhinolaryngologist and university professor, contributed to declaring the island of Lošinj a climatic health resort.
