Hotel Kvarner – Opatija
A packed programme in the famous Crystal Hall

This year, the renowned Crystal Hall at Hotel Kvarner again hosts a number of exciting events and traditional programmes. After its renovation, which will last until the middle of next year, Kvarner will reopen as an addition to the top-quality five-star hotels in Opatija.

One of the oldest hotels on the Adriatic – Hotel Kvarner in Opatija, with a 120-year-tradition of welcoming guests – has retained its appeal both to tourists and to the inhabitants of Opatija. Its rooms tell the story of the hotel’s glorious past during which it used to be visited by royalty from the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Its charm and tradition will live on even after its renovation and upgrade into a five-star hotel, which should be finished before summer next year.
The hotel is located by the sea and surrounded by a magnificent park with lush vegetation. Its renowned Crystal Hall makes it very attractive to organisers of various events and to guests who appreciate this unique combination of a glorious history and modern trends.
Its tradition and charm are not the only reasons why organisers choose this hall as the venue for their events. With a capacity for more than 700 guests, the Crystal Hall is the centre of any large public event in Opatija. The tradition continues, and the schedule for this February includes a number of exciting events. The Wedding Fair, which took place in January, will be followed by the selection of the Croatian entry for the Eurovision Song Contest – Dora – the contest for the title of Miss Universe, and Serenade to Opatija – a nostalgic musical event dedicated to the singer Ivo Robić, whose music and work is closely related to Opatija.
