Crikvenica, Dramalj, Jadranovo, Selce
Packed programme of events in July

Summer in Crikvenica and its neighbouring resorts Dramalj, Jadranovo and Selce will this year again feature many entertainment events designed to appeal to visitors of all ages. These events include art and folk festivals, concerts, evenings of dance and traditional sports, and recreational competitions.

If you are planning to visit Crikvenica or some of the nearby resorts in July, you don't have to worry about what to do or see: the area offers a packed calendar of events designed to meet the needs of various tastes. Regardless whether you like culture, entertainment, chamber or traditional music, evergreens or modern dance – you can rest assured that you will find something for you. If you are a sports enthusiast, a fan of fishing, or would like to explore the area's traditional heritage – the Crikvenica area again has a lot to offer. Since the programme includes various attractions on daily basis until the beginning September, it is impossible to list all the events worth visiting. For those interested in open-air festivals, we recommend the "Balustrada Summer Nights", traditional folk festivals called "Primorske noći", and various folklore performances and tamburica-concerts that will take place on the Strossmayer Promenade in Crikvenica. Particularly attractive will be the 20th international beach volleyball tournament in Crikvenica from the 22nd to the 24th of July and the big Crikvenica Jazz Meeting.
Lots of fun are guaranteed also in the nearby resort of Jadranovo, where visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy various entertainment programmes – evenings of evergreens, Tuna Festival, fish festivals, various entertainment programmes for children, theatrical performances on the seafront, bocce tournament, after beach parties, concerts of Croatian traditional vocal groups "klape", and much more.
Visitors to Selce are invited to enjoy numerous promenade concerts by wind orchestras and attractive fish festivals on the seafront. Particularly worth emphasising is the large cruiser regatta Selce Open 2011 scheduled for the 2nd of July.
Dramalj also has a lot to offer – boccie tournaments in Kačjak holiday village, fish festivals, concerts of klape vocal groups, and the particularly attractive 5th summer carnival, which will take place on the 30th of July in the small harbour of Pazdehova.
Art lovers are invited to several exhibitions – "Lion Pit" and ethnographic exhibition about fishing in the Crikvenica Town Museum, exhibitions in the Crikvenica Town Gallery and Town Library, and the exhibition "Friends of the Sea" on Crikvenica's Balustrada promenade. Exhibitions by various Croatian artists will also be on display in the areas of Dramalj and Selce.
It is important to say that all the resorts within the Crikvenica Riviera are easily reachable on good roads, which means that visitors who spend their holidays in one of the resorts can easily reach any event that takes place in another resort of this Riviera.
