The traditional September guided walking tour to Trebišća along the history and mythology trail that winds up the eastern slopes of Mount Učka above Mošćenička Draga takes visitors on an interesting historical adventure. To learn more, we recommend coming to Mošćenička Draga on the 11th of September. The tour starts at 10 a.m.!

If you would like to learn who the Slavs actually are, where they came from and why they came here, and what were the beliefs on which life in their community was based, and you also happen to be a fan of adventure, make sure to come to Mošćenička Draga on the 11th of September, where at 10 a.m. starts a guided walking tour to the hamlet of Trebišća. Those who have already been there know for sure that this is much more than just a walking tour – it is a real adventure that will reveal a story more than one thousand years old.
The trail winds on the eastern slopes of Mount Učka above Mošćenička Draga past many natural attractions such as a deep mysterious gorge. Along the way, you will learn about the arrival of the Slavs to this area and many interesting historical facts. Today we know that this area was chosen as the site for their most sacred beliefs, the stage for ancient mythical events. The Trebišća-Perun history and mythology trail is an attempt to explain more about who the Slavs actually are, what we know today about their origins, why they came here, and the beliefs on which life in their community was based. The trail tells the exciting story of how the pieces of this ancient history, whose traces have survived a thousand eventful years, have been pieced together into the jigsaw that makes up our present knowledge about life in this area.
This 15-kilometre-long trail leads through pristine nature and preserved hamlets in the canyon of Potoška vala up to the peak of Perun (880 metres above sea level). The tour takes about seven hours.
