Start of the winter season
Sledding in the Ravna Gora area!

This winter's sledding season in the village of Kupjak in the immediate vicinity of Gorski kotar's attractive resort of Ravna Gora starts on the 1st of December. All sledding and skiing fans, regardless of age, and all those who simply enjoy being in the snow are invited.

Since it was first opened in the last year, Gorski kotar's first official sledding area in Kupjak near Ravna Gora has gained great popularity among fans of snow fun. This year, the sledding season starts already on the 1st of December. Even if there is no snow, fun is guaranteed because the sledding area has modern equipment that makes tobogganing possible even in summer.
The centre includes a classical 130-metre sledding run equipped with a 90-metre carpet lift. Particularly interesting is the Snow Tubby for tubing on dry surface. The facility is made of large half-pipes in which one can ride in small circle-shaped inflatable tubes. It is also planned to open a small slope for skiing beginners, which should be 70 metres long and have an inclination of 7 degrees.
Next to the sledding area is an attractive restaurant and accommodation facility built in a rustic, alpine style of Finnish pine logs, which makes this property fold perfectly into the surrounding landscape dominated by woods. The Gina tavern offers traditional dishes and drinks of the Gorski kotar area and includes a large terrace with infrared heaters. The property also offers accommodation in five modern rooms of different sizes.
