Rijeka – fairs in March
Five large international exhibitions

If you are interested in local gastronomic heritage, hunting and fishing, tourism trades, interior decoration, new technologies, or the motor car industry, we suggest visiting Rijeka's Dvorana mladosti hall from 22 until 25 March, when as many as five large international fairs will be taking place there.

From 22 until 25 March, Rijeka's Dvorana mladosti sports hall will host five fairs: the 16th Household and Technics, the 5th Green and Blue exhibition of original products, the 14th Fishing and Hunting fair, the 11th Tourism trades fair, and the 19th Exhibition of cars and car equipment.
March is traditionally the month of great preparations, especially in tourism: hotel companies improve their infrastructure and prepare new offers for the next season. However, this is also the time when many of us want to make some changes in private households. The announced exhibitions provide an excellent opportunity to find just what one needs to make such improvements.
The 16th Household and Technics international fair of building, equipment, furniture and decoration will present a wide range of products for interior and exterior design: building materials, planning equipment, tools and machines, and quality Croatian furniture.
The Green and Blue fair of original products, which was started five years ago in collaboration with the County of Primorje-Gorski kotar, will present a wide choice of original home-made gastronomic specialities reflecting this area's unique combination of typical coastal and continental cuisine. The fair is aimed at restaurant and hotel owners who will have the chance to agree on cooperation with local food producers in order to boost the promotion of local gastronomic heritage in tourism.
The 14th Hunting and Fishing fair focuses on an important part of Kvarner's tourism offer, especially with regard to the Gorski kotar area. The emphasis will be on the importance of fishing and hunting and the need to protect natural habitats and the environment in general, and on the ways of improving classical fishing and hunting offer. In addition to presenting equipment and books about hunting and fishing, the fair will promote particularly attractive hunting and fishing areas of Kvarner and Gorski kotar.
The 11th Croatian Tourism Trades fair will be especially interesting to tourism professionals, because it represents an excellent opportunity to meet experts from firms specialising in building, furnishing and providing supplies to hotels and other tourist properties.
Visitors interested in the motor car industry will be thrilled with the 19th exhibition of cars and car equipment, which will be presented in several categories – passenger cars, motorcycles, scooters and bicycles; commercial vehicles; spare parts and service equipment; vehicle maintenance equipment; protective clothing and footwear; equipment for workshops, oils and lubricants; parking and traffic signalisation.
