The oldest restaurant on Opatija's Riviera, the Plavi podrum in Volosko, has been listed among the top one hundred restaurants worldwide. The list was recently published in the Freemason’s Hall in Covent Garden, London.
The Plavi podrum restaurant in Volosko has just been listed among the best 100 restaurants in the world. The list was published for the prestigious San Pellegrino World’s 50 Best Restaurants award ceremony held recently in the Freemason’s Hall in Covent Garden, London.
Plavi podrum is the oldest restaurant on the Opatija Riviera with a 100-year tradition and an extraordinary selection of gastronomic specialities. In addition to its superb location with marvellous views of Volosko’s small harbour, the restaurant offers a top gastronomic experience. The owner, Daniela Kramarić, is two-time winner of the Croatian sommelier competition and the best sommelier of East and Central Europe. Apart from many local fish specialities and dishes prepared with seasonal ingredients, Plavi podrum also offers a selection of more than 250 wines from around the world.
